 NG Kit Car

Site

News Page (March 2008)

Overhaul of supplementary pages (Mar 2008)

The build section has links to well over 100 supplementary pages to give further details. I have recently been giving these a revised look so as to be in keeping with the rest of the site. This work is now complete. The proposed Site Map and Gallery now need my attention!

Events for 2008 (March 2008)

The Events page has been updated. Here you will find a number of kit and/or classic car events and supporting web sites listed.

Vandalism now completely rectified (Dec 2007)

I am sure those of you who have read about the vandalism to my NG will be pleased to know that it has now all been rectified including the seats. For complete details of this vandalism and the steps I took to rectify the problem see Vandalism in the Modifications section.

Peter Bambrook's NG TF Kit Car Build (Dec 2007)

Another NG builder, Peter Bambrook, has recently launched his web site and intends to develop it as he builds his NG TF. Please visit his NG TF Kit Car Build at www.ngbuild.co.uk

New PDF files available for viewing (Nov 2007)

I have added a number of PDF (Portable Document Format) files which give some of the more technical details in a convenient form which can be saved and/or printed more readily for reference. PDF files can be read with Adobe Reader which may be downloaded free from the Adobe web site; links are provided for this wherever my PDF files are available.

The PDF files currently available are:
  • Chassis Diagrams (Build/Chassis)
  • Alignment Tool (Build/Steering)
  • Pedal Spring Bracket (Build/Braking System)
  • Light Pod Template (Build/Wings)
  • Wing Support Bracket (Build/Wings)
  • Rear Light Covers (Modifications)
  • Wind Deflectors (Modifications)
  • EFC Wiring (Modifications)
Please let me know if there is anything else for which you would like to see a PDF file included.

New Content (Oct 2007)

I have now completed the Modifications section with details of all the mods I have carried out so far (including electronic ignition, fitted jack, fire extinguisher and the vandalism I suffered recently). However, I anticipate that this section will continue to grow as other mods are undertaken.

I have also included a piece about fitting a removable rear seat at the bottom of the Interior & Seats page.

Future Developments

Here are some of the additional features I intend to include in the future:
  • Site map (probably in tabular form) so you can go straight to the page you want
  • Photo gallery of various NGs
  • Timeline of major events (to see how long each stage took)
  • Picture progression of the main stages.
Please e-mail me and let me know of any other ideas you think I could include.

ChangiNGear

As some of you will know, I am the editor of the NG Owners Club magazine, "ChangiNGear" and I would be delighted to receive any articles or letters from NGOC members about their NG experiences for possible publication in the magazine.
